How to use ReelStats

  1. Put your Instagram reel and TikTok video links in one column of your sheet (one link per row).
  2. In the header row above your links, add a column named Views and one named Likes. If they're missing, ReelStats shows an "Add Views and Likes columns" button that inserts them right after your links.
  3. Select the cells with your links.
  4. Open Extensions → ReelStats → Open ReelStats, check the summary in the panel, and click Update.
  5. Keep the panel open. Each row shows "Checking…" and then its numbers, usually within 1–5 minutes.

Common questions

Which links work?

Public Instagram reel and post links (instagram.com/reel/…, /p/…) and TikTok video links (tiktok.com/@name/video/…, including short vm.tiktok.com links).

Why does a row say "Unavailable"?

The video is private, deleted, age-restricted, or couldn't be found. ReelStats only sees what is public without logging in.

Why does Likes say "Hidden"?

The creator has hidden the like count on Instagram.

Why are the numbers slightly different from the app?

Counts are a snapshot from the moment you clicked Update, as shown to logged-out visitors. Numbers keep changing after that.

How many videos can I check?

Up to 200 per person per day, and at most 1,000 links per update. There is also a shared monthly limit for all users. The panel shows how many you have left today and when your limit resets (midnight UTC).

I have several tables in one sheet. Where do the numbers go?

Into the Views and Likes columns that belong to the links you selected: the nearest ones next to your links, in the same table. Other tables are never touched.

Will it change anything else in my sheet?

No. It only writes into the Views and Likes columns for the rows you selected, and replaces any values already in those cells.

How do I remove ReelStats?

In Google Sheets, go to Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons, find ReelStats and choose Uninstall. You can also remove its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
